Set behind mature hedging on Benedict Canyon Drive, the house turns its back on the road and opens entirely to the garden — a pool, a movie room and three terraces arranged around the light.

Inside, the main level runs from a marble-floored living room through to a formal dining room and a granite kitchen with a Viking range, built-in refrigeration and a garden window over the sink. A breakfast bay and island seating sit beneath an orb chandelier, with doors opening straight onto the deck.

Three bedrooms and four baths are laid out for privacy. The primary has fitted wardrobes, its own sliding doors to the terrace, and a marble bath with a soaking tub.

The garden is where the house earns its keep. A movie room opens through pocketing sliders directly onto the pool deck, so a screening runs straight out to the water. Above it, a louvered pergola with integrated lighting shelters an outdoor kitchen, a turf lawn and a fitness area, and a further deck carries a fire-pit lounge and a dining table facing the canyon at sunset.
